Great Tides is a static website. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no contact forms, and it does not run its own analytics or tracking.

What is collected

By this website itself: nothing. The pages are plain HTML files. There are no cookies set by Great Tides, no comment systems, no embedded social media widgets and no advertising trackers.

Hosting and its logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information your browser sends with each request (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure, and provides the site operator with aggregate, non-individual traffic statistics (page views and visit counts) through Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused measurement tool that does not use cookies and does not fingerprint visitors. The place filter on the home page runs entirely in your browser; what you type there is never sent anywhere.

All tide predictions shown here are published by NOAA CO-OPS, a US government service, and were downloaded as public data. Displaying them involves no information about you.
